Facebook App for the Iphone

Do you have a Facebook account and an Iphone? what could be better? To have a Facebook app in your Iphone.
This is a simple application that lets you do the following things inside your Facebook account:
1.- Read the Real Time News about the activities of your friends, groups and applications... and post replies to them.
2.- Watch your profile, your wall, pictures, information, etc (and change those)
3.- Watch your friends profiles, information and pictures
4.- Read your messages (private)
5.- Watch upcoming events
6.- Make notes
7.- Chat (yes, it even has a chat engine)
8.- Watch your friends list
9.- See any requests you have (and get push notifications)
10.- Post on walls (your and everyone else's)
11.- Read any notifications about changes of states, posts to your wall, etc...
Drawbacks:
No video playback on Iphone 3G or Iphone 3GS
You cannot play with your farm or your caffe or anything that requires FLASH player.
Anything else (native Facebook apps and all...) can be done.

And none of them are Medical Doctors. So no doctor should have an Iphone without Eponyms for Iphone.

It is one of the best tools I have used, second to Epocrates only in importance for the clinician.
The best of all, It's FREE for students!!! (I must say I got it while I was still studying!)

If you are a technophile like I am, you have an Iphone 3g, and you happen to be a doctor as well, the you will be interested in this review of Free Medical Iphone Apps.

Let's start with the one I consider the most important free medical Iphone application:

Epocrates Rx (r) for Iphone:

This Iphone application was developed and is constantly updated by Epocrates Inc. to be one of the best Drug References for the iphone.

It has a comprehensive list of Drugs by Generic name, commercial brands, etc.

Every drug has its Adult Dosing, Peds Dosing (if available), Black Box Warnings, Contraindications/Cautions, Adverse Reactions, Safety Monitoring, Pharmacology, Manufacturer/Pricing, Pill Pictures and Interactions.

The best of all features is the Multicheck tool which checks for interactions between multiple drugs.

The free Epocrates Rx (r) even comes with MedMath which has a series of useful medical calculators that include Body Mass Index, Winters' Formula, Pregnancy Wheel, Corrected Qt and many more...
I could not possibly live without this free medical app for the Iphone.
